The goal of Fundación María García Estrada is to follow lines of research in the knowledge, diagnosis and treatment of sarcomas, with the aim of helping all the patients who suffer and fight this type of cancer every day. They do this by setting up research programmes to learn more about this disease and how to cure it. That is why Avantis Salud supports this project that helps future patients obtain a diagnosis and treatment.

Two years ago, their sixth line of research came to an end. This led to a new study focusing on the use of clinical adaptation and validation by means of a system that allows detecting simultaneously several gene fusions in one single reaction, which is essential for a correct diagnosis, thus providing each patient with the treatment regimes that suit them best.
